UFC Fight Night 122

UFC Fight Night 122 Predictions: Bleacher Report Main Card Staff Picks,Beginning at 3:45 a.m. ET on Saturday, November 25, UFC Fight Night 122 is the UFC’s debut in mainland China. That in itself makes this an interesting event, even if the brightest stars are the ones still in the night sky.

UFC Fight Night 122 live

The four-fight main card—which, like the rest of the card, airs exclusively on the UFC Fight Pass streaming service—does carry other intrigue, including a co-main event featuring China’s pre-eminent fighter.

Take this opportunity to get acquainted with the eight main card competitors with our staff picks from Nathan McCarter, Craig “Cookie” Amos, Steven Rondina and myself, Scott Harris. Let’s get it on.

Muslim Salikhov’s most notable win came earlier this year when he sent Melvin Guillard crashing to the canvas in a heap after a head kick. The video went viral, and the UFC scooped up another potential star.

Alex Garcia is no easy out, but I’ll take a flier on the newcomer. He won’t have a stellar debut, but he’ll show he’s for real in a clear-cut, unanimous-decision victory.

The UFC’s best fight card of the year is here, and it’s actually intact. In a year full of fights falling apart at the last second, it’s about time that fight fans get to see some of the best in the world finally enter the Octagon and put their titles on the line. Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City,

UFC 217 will host three title fights, including the return of UFC legend Georges St-Pierre.GSP will face off against current Middleweight champion, Michael Bisping, in what will be the former welterweight champion’s first fight

For all the cringeworthy trash talk that’s been surrounding this fight over the past six months, this is still one hell of a fight that could easily take Fight of the Night honors.

The bad blood, the Team Alpha Male drama—this fight has it all, and the UFC has struck gold having it as the night’s co-main event. Garbrandt, as we’ve seen during his brief-yet-meteoric rise in the UFC, has the kiss of death in his hands and boxing skills that would give Conor McGregor a run for his money.

UFC 216 live

UFC 216 is an awkward card for the UFC, sitting in the purgatory between the company’s summer blockbusters and its stacked winter shows. Still, there is a great deal of intrigue on this card and lots of fun waiting to be.

Demetrious Johnson chasing an unprecedented 11th title defense and a headline fight that could decide Conor McGregor’s next opponent top a UFC 216 card set for Saturday in Las Vegas, an event playing out in a city still reeling from a mass shooting in which 58 people were killed and nearly 500 were injured.

The mixed-martial arts promotion has pledged $1 million to help victims and their families, UFC President Dana White said. The pay-per-view card is one of many events that quickly resumed in Las Vegas after the shooting on Sunday, including a major casino conference, magic shows and concerts and a Los Angeles Lakers practice game set for Sunday in the same T-Mobile Arena where UFC 216 will take place.

WWE No Mercy will emanate live on Sunday night from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and though it looked to be a middle-of-the-road pay-per-view, the absolutely stacked card has this set to be one of the highlights of the company’s calendar in 2017.

With two massive main events and a loaded match card that should settle and begin a ton of rivalries, it will be an absolutely pleasure to watch this all transpire on Sunday beginning at 8 p.m. ET with a kickoff show that starts an hour earlier at 7 p.m.

CBS Sports will offer live coverage of No Mercy with results, reviews and grades at the end of each match. Keep it locked here on Sunday night for everything you need to follow the show.

Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman live

No Mercy PPV has shaped up to be a bigger event with the dual main events that are confirmed. In the Universal Championship match, Brock Lesnar will defend the title against Braun Strowman in a clash between two behemoths. Plus, two franchise players of the company will also lock horns to reign supreme over each other. John Cena and Roman Reigns will battle it out in a Wrestlemania-worthy matchup.

A strong finish breeds rematches and intensifies excitement. A bad one ruins chances for a future contest, eliminates the need for the continuation of specific storylines and lowers the stock of the Superstars involved, whether their performances deserve as much or not.

The fall is a tumultuous period for WWE as fans are busy watching football, heading back to school or catching up with the everyday life they neglected during the summer.

The product is hardly at its hottest but that has not stopped the company from presenting a show with two legitimate WrestleMania-quality main events, one of which may have the future of the top babyface in WWE riding on it.

Bellator 182 on Friday night as the popular California-based promotion is set to take over Turning Stone Casino in Verona, N.Y. The card is stacked with intriguing matchups but the pivotal showdown between Andrey Koreshkov and Chidi Njokuani atop the marquee is the most alluring of the bunch.

Koreshkov, a powerful Russian who has knocked out nearly half of his opponents, is coming off a third-round knockout loss to Douglas Lima at Bellator 164 last November. Koreshkov lost his welterweight title that night and “Spartan” is dead set on getting it back. He first must get through another fierce striker in Njokuani and he looked terrific on the scale. Koreshkov weighed in at 171 pounds.

Njokuani has been on a tear lately, having won seven in a row since fighting to a “no Contest” against Chris Heatherly at RFA 13 more than three years ago. “Chidi Bang Bang” in unbeaten inside the Bellator cage and is coming off a knockout of Andre Fialho at Bellator 167 and a decision win over longtime veteran Melvin Guillard at Bellator 171. The Las Vegas fighter weighed in at 175.
